It's actually my lunch ...mixed veggie stir fry with collards and brown rice. It tasted a lot better than it looks. I took this picture to mark the fact that I'm serious about cutting animal products and finding better food to take to work than soy nut butter and jelly all the time!

My new office

Today was the first day of my new position as Marketing Director for the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County. It's a quick 30 minute drive (mostly interstate), and I think I'm going to love it! The staff worked like crazy to get this room inhabitable as my office...It's sunny and bright...just the kind of atmosphere for creative work. I can't wait to get in and settled and to work!

My weekend...

I'm letting this post count for Saturday and Sunday, since I spent all weekend working on the set for our production of "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing." and by "our" I mean Columbia Children's Theatre. We had some very talented painting and building help, and this is where it stands as of Sunday evening:

The entire set is designed to look like it's made out of Tinker Toys...we've still got a little more work to do before we open on Friday, but we're almost there, thanks to everyone who pitched in and worked so hard!
